What We Collect

We do not collect special category data (health, ethnicity, political views, etc.) and our services are not designed to process such information. Please do not include sensitive personal information in floor plan uploads or correspondence.
How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data only for the following purposes:
- Delivering services — processing your order, producing your redesign or analysis, and communicating with you about it.
- Customer support — responding to queries, revision requests, and complaints.
- Order administration — invoicing, VAT compliance, and financial record-keeping as required by Finnish law.
- Service improvement — understanding how visitors use the Platform so we can improve it (via anonymised analytics).
- Legal compliance — meeting our obligations under Finnish and EU law.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We do not use your floor plan uploads for advertising, model training, or any purpose beyond delivering your requested service.

Floor Plan Data
Your floor plan is the core input for our service. We treat it with particular care:
- Free Analysis uploads are processed to generate your LayoutScore report and are not retained beyond what is technically necessary to return the result to you. We do not link free analysis uploads to any personal identity.
- Paid order uploads are retained for the duration of your order plus a reasonable period thereafter to allow for revisions and support (up to 12 months from delivery).
- We do not publish, share, or use identifiable floor plans in any marketing material without your explicit written consent. Anonymised plans (with no address or owner information visible) may be used in before/after examples with your consent.
- Floor plans are stored on secure servers within the EU.
If your floor plan file contains personally identifiable property information (address, owner name, cadastral data), please remove or redact it before uploading. We are not responsible for personal data you choose to include in uploaded files beyond what is necessary for the service.
Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — we use third-party providers for payment processing, email delivery, and hosting. These providers act as data processors under GDPR and are bound by data processing agreements. They may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Design contractors — where a redesign is produced in whole or in part by a contracted architect or designer, your floor plan and brief will be shared with them solely to deliver your order. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required by Finnish law, a court order, or a regulatory authority.
- Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the successor entity, which will be bound by this Privacy Policy.
We will never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised. You may request earlier deletion — see Section 9.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Platform. Full details are in our Cookie Policy. In summary:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Platform to function (e.g. session management, upload processing). No consent required.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Platform. We use anonymised, privacy-friendly analytics. These require your consent where applicable under Finnish ePrivacy law.
- No advertising cookies — we do not use cookies to serve targeted advertising or track you across other websites.
You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time via the cookie banner on the Platform or by adjusting your browser settings.
